Seeding dates should be determined based on plant type (fruit, roots, flowers or leaves). See the plant categories page for a (non-exhaustive) list of gardening day/plant type associations.
Good seeding times are defined according to the position of the moon in its sidereal rhythm (constellation).
It is possible to sow during either waning and waxing moon as they do not seem to have a significal influence.

- Flowers Seed plants that are grown for flowers (e.g. broccoli, ornamental flowers etc.)

- Fruit Seed plants from which fruit and cereals are harvested (e.g. oats, tomatoes, etc.)
