The moon and plants

The position of the moon in front of different constellations influences certain plants.

Plants are classified into four categories depending on the part which is harvested : leaves, flowers, roots or fruit and seeds.

Work periods for a plant should be chosen by its relation to the position of the moon with the constellations :

• Aries, Leo and Sagittarius constellations : this period is favorable for fruit and seed producers
• Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn : this phase is good for roots and tubers
• Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces : this period is favorable for leaves
• Gemini, Libra and Aquarius : this cycle is best for flowers
